SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:
Must have: Civil 3D, AutoCAD
Good to have: Mat 3D, Bentley Pro-Structures, ETABS, STAAD, RISA
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Should have knowledge in Civil engineering including preparation of Design basis, drawings, calculation reports etc.
- Study of Client Specification, Standard or available Drawings, & 3D model using Navisworks
- Thorough understanding of scope, evaluates efforts, review of inputs & adhere to the schedule
- Must have design experience on Civil 3D
- Experienced with developing existing grade contour drawings, developing rough grading and final grading plans.
- Experience establishing plant benchmarks and converting between latitude/longitude, state plane, and plant coordinates.
- Experience generating final surface treatment drawings.
- Experience with developing earthwork material cut and fill quantities.
- Experience with developing Erosion and Sediment Control drawings and Stormwater Pollution Preventions Plans (SWPPP) for permitting
- Experience with Stormwater Management Calculations and sizing large secondary containment structures including earthen berms and mechanically stabilized earth walls.
- Experience with roadway layouts and generating roadway profiles from Civil3D.
- Must be proficient with using Navisworks, AutoCAD
- Proficient with American codes and standards.
- Reviewing & approving the work done by subordinates
- Should have experience in handling the drafting team, to check the drawings for quality deliverables
- Proficient in both Imperial & Metric Units
- Good communication skills
